The Audited AI Close.

The AI your team already pays for, set up properly for month end. No new software unless it's absolutely necessary.

Most teams have Claude or ChatGPT licences and get little from them. Paying for AI and getting value from AI are two different things: the capability is already in your stack, and in my experience most teams have barely scratched what it can do. My job is wiring it in safely.

01 · What you get

Wired into your close, with the controls your auditors expect.

Your auditors will ask about AI in your close this year. This is the setup where you have an answer.

02 · Who it's for

Teams with AI licences nobody wired in.

CFOs, FDs and controllers of SMEs and scale-ups whose teams already pay for Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot, while team members quietly paste company numbers into personal chatbots nobody signed off. Part of the job is education: data security, hallucination modes, what your auditors will ask. You end up knowing exactly where you stand.

03 · The honest boundary

What this setup gives you, plainly.

This is procedural safety: checklists, gates, show-your-working. When you want checks enforced by code, deterministic recompute and refusal on unverifiable figures, that's custom automation or the knowledge base build, and I'll tell you plainly when you're ready for it.

04 · When I leave

You run it. I stay reachable.

When the handover ends, your team runs this. The routine changes are yours to make: a workflow's wording, a changed threshold, a new starter added to the sign-off list. The run-book marks exactly which changes are safe to self-serve, and your named admin makes a few of them, live, before I sign off the handover.

For the structural work, new workflows, new connectors, anything touching the guardrails or the sign-off logic, I'm one email away. It's all documented and versioned well enough that any competent engineer could pick it up. Most clients call me because I built it and it's faster.
